When it comes to foul mouthing political rivals, firebrand YSR Congress party leader and Andhra Pradesh tourism minister R K Roja is no inferior to her party leaders like Kodali Nani or Jogi Ramesh.
Especially, if the rivals are Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh, she doesn’t lose any opportunity to attack them with strongest and choicest epithets.
On Thursday, too, Roja described Lokesh as an “address leni vedhava” (an idiot without any address) and a “pilli pithri” (shit of a cat).
“It is ridiculous that a man who cannot even win as an MLA has the audacity to criticise the chief minister,” she ridiculed.
Stating that Lokesh had become an MLC by blackmailing his father through his wife and mother, Roja threatened to get him thrashed with people if he made any criticism against the chief minister.
Defending former minister Kodali Nani for using strong words against Naidu and Lokesh, the tourism minister said there was nothing wrong in what Kodali had said.
“Lokesh can’t pluck even a strand of white hair from the beard of Kodali Nani. If he continued to talk nonsense against Nani, we will chase him away and thrash him,” she warned.
Reacting strongly to the TDP leaders’ challenge to the Jagan government on reintroducing three capitals’ bill, Roja said the government had complete mandate from the people to form three capitals.
“That is why the YSRC had won all the elections in the last three years, including in the Amaravati capital region,” she pointed out.
She said Naidu and Lokesh were talking about Amaravati only for their real estate activity. They absolutely had no backing of the people.
“At least now, they should hold their tongue, while making any criticism against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government,” she added.
