Lingamaneni Ramesh Cheated Chaitanya Group!

Noted entrepreneur in AP, Lingamaneni Ramesh, is now accused of cheating Chaitanya Group of Educational Institutions.

Chaitanya group chairman B V Rao told media persons on Tuesday that Lingamaneni Ramesh had cheated them for over Rs 300 crore over the past one decade. 

Rao said that they have paid Rs 310 crore to Lingamaneni Ramesh in 2012-13 for land to expand the group educational institutions. 

However, Ramesh never handed over the land for the Chaitanya group, Rao alleged and said that on mounting pressure, Ramesh had given them 10 cheques for repayment of the money.  Readmore!

The cheques too were not honoured in the banks, Rao said. 

Finally in 2016, they both singed an agreement for exchange of land for the money that was paid to Ramesh. 

Rao further said that Ramesh was not honouring the agreement following which they have filed six cases against Ramesh.

He also said that the Chaitanya Group had also filed a suit in the Supreme Court which had directed Ramesh to pay the money in monthly instalments. 

Rao said that Ramesh was not even honouring the Supreme Court direction. 

Lingamaneni Ramesh is a noted entrepreneur who is close to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. 

Ramesh had given his house to Naidu when the latter was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. 

Ramesh had also brought Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan together for a closed door meeting in 2018 to help Chandrababu Naidu.
