Left Parties are new 'bakras' in KCR's list!

There is talk in political circles that if a list is prepared with the names of persons or political parties who have been 'bakra' (fooled) in the hands of BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, it will be endless.

This list includes the names of Sonia Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, Prof Kodandaram, K. Jana Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, Swamy Goud, and so on and so forth.

They say KCR follows a 'use and throw' policy strictly in politics, and that is his 'success mantra' in politics.

The latest to join this list are the poor Left Parties, the CPI, and CPM. Readmore!

During the Munugode Assembly bypoll in November last year, the BRS faced a do-or-die contest with BJP's Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy.

KCR realized that it would be difficult to defeat Rajgopal Reddy without the support of the Left Parties, which have a significant cadre base in Munugode.

KCR immediately approached Telangana CPI and CPM leaders and sought their support. He even addressed joint public meetings in Munugode by sharing the dais with the Left Parties.

He announced that BRS's friendship with the Left Parties was not confined to Munugode but would continue in all upcoming elections.

The BRS won the Munugode election with over a 10,000 majority, and it is widely believed that the support extended by the Left Parties played a key role in the BRS's victory.

The Left Parties, who believed KCR's words about continuing their friendship in all future elections, have been attempting to meet KCR to seek at least a dozen Assembly seats for the upcoming Assembly polls.

But KCR refused to even give an appointment to meet the Left Parties' leaders. He reportedly sent a communication to the Left Parties stating that he was ready to offer just one seat to either CPI or CPM and let them decide who will contest that lone seat.

Shocked at this, the Left Parties are now approaching the Congress party for an alliance.
