Kommineni, once considered to be a man of Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s inner circle, served Eenadu group for a long time in Hyderabad and New Delhi.

Later, he moved to electronic media, joining NTV as a news anchor conducting debates for a long time, before he was allegedly shunted out of the channel at the behest of “small boss” of TDP Nara Lokesh, who apparently did not like Kommineni making critical comments against the TDP.

Later, he joined Sakshi group and has become a close confidant of Jagan’s family. He is now being rewarded with a prominent post.
