Where is YCP firebrand and former minister Kodali Nani?
Known for his sharp rhetoric and aggressive stance against opponents, Kodali Nani has been conspicuously absent from the media lately. His current whereabouts are unknown.
It appears that, following his loss in Gudivada and the recent change in government, Kodali Nani has been more cautious.
Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi are among the primary targets of the TDP.
Both leaders, who belong to the Kamma community, frequently clashed with Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh when the YCP was in power.
Kodali Nani, in particular, was known for his verbal aggression, often exchanging harsh words with Lokesh. Notably, there was an incident where Lokesh warned Kodali Nani he would make him run on the roads in just his underwear.
After the formation of the Chandrababu-led government, some TDP supporters reportedly pelted stones at Kodali Nani's house in Gudivada. Beyond this, there have been no major attacks on him.
Despite his defeat, Kodali Nani challenged the TDP leaders on a few occasions but has since maintained a low profile. It is believed that he has been residing in Hyderabad, possibly focusing on his business ventures.
It cannot be said that Kodali Nani is hiding out of fear. His friends suggest that he is simply aware that the timing is not favorable and has chosen to stay out of the media spotlight for now.
It is understood that he plans to wait before re-engaging with the public. It is also unclear whether any legal cases will be filed against him.
