Telangana Adopts Jagan's Nadu-Nedu For Schools

All these days, the Telangana government headed by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been giving an impression that it is providing a better administration than the Andhra Pradesh government headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

On a quite a few occasions, KCR pointed out that the Jagan government was copying his schemes like Rythu Bandhu. He was of the view that Jagan is too inexperienced in running the government.

But now, the KCR government is forced to follow a scheme launched by the Jagan government – “Nadu-Nedu,” which is aimed at improving the school infrastructure, when compared to the past.

The Telangana government, too, has come up with a similar scheme to develop school infrastructure. Readmore!

It is now planning to follow the model adopted by the Andhra Pradesh government, but it has come to know that the latter is following a specific software to monitor the implementation of the scheme.

The Andhra Pradesh government has developed an end-to-end encrypted software with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for their already under-progress school revamp project, Nadu Nedu. Now, the Telangana government requested the TCS to use the software to do the same.

However, the TCS expressed that the Telangana government had to acquire a formal ‘no objection’ from the AP Government as it was designed and customized for the AP government.

On Wednesday, Telangana education secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania wrote a letter to his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Budithi Rajasekhar, requesting a no-objection certificate for usage of the software being followed by Andhra Pradesh.

When the officials brought it to the notice of Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday, he responded positively.

“If this is for the benefit of our Telugu people, we should provide them with the support they need,” he said.

That is Jagan!
