KCR To Delhi Again With Same Old List!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is once again going to New Delhi on Friday evening in the name of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other union ministers to discuss various pending issues concerning the State.

An official communication from the chief minister’s office (CMO) said KCR had decided to go to Delhi personally and stay there for couple of days and meet the Prime Minister and other Ministers to discuss the issues and get approvals.

This is really, really surprising, as it was just 20 days ago that he had met the Prime Minister and other central ministers to discuss several pending issues of the state.

And this will be the third visit within two months – he visited New Delhi before that on June 15, when he had a lengthy meeting with the Prime Minister and presented a long list of issues pertaining to the state. Readmore!

Now, the latest CMO release mentioned the same issues that the TRS chief had taken up in his meeting with Modi in the past.

The release said he is going to talk about the most important issue of approval to the new zonal system, besides other issues like release of Rs 20,000 crore grant for Kaleshwaram project, bifurcation of high court, release of grants to the backward districts, allocation of defence lands for the state secretariat etc.

The chief minister is of the view that despite several appeals from the state government the response from the central is not as expected.

But it is clearly evident that KCR has something else on his agenda in his meeting with Modi.

The talk is that KCR will discuss the issue of Modi’s consent for the TRS going in for early elections to the state assembly.

The visit of chief electoral officer Rajat Kumar to Delhi to meet the Election Commission authorities on Thursday is also being viewed in that angle.
