Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and legislative council member Kalvakuntla Kavitha is one leader in the party who makes very cautious statements and doesn’t talk through the hat.
Though Kavitha used to interact with media occasionally and make statements on national political issues till six months ago, she has stopped talking politics after that, though her brother K T Rama Rao still makes aggressive statements.
On Tuesday, however, Kavitha made an interesting statement that triggered a lot of speculation in the Telangana social media. She said the state was going to witness interesting political developments in the coming days.
“There are going to be changes in the political equations in the state. The political scenario in the state will take an interesting turn and whatever may be the changes, they are going to be in the good of the TRS,” she said.
Kavitha went on to say that several issues were going to come up for discussion in the state politics. “I cannot make any comment beyond this,” she said, leaving it to the media to speculate as to what is going to happen in the state politics.
Now, the question is what kind of change there will be in the political equations. Will there be any understanding between the BJP and the TRS at the national level? Will Y S Sharmila withdraw her plans to launch a political party? It is too difficult to guess.
There has also been a speculation for quite long time that KCR himself will move to national politics after anointing his son KTR as the chief minister. It is not exactly known whether Kavitha was hinting at such a possibility.
Let us watch out whether there will be any such developments as hinted at by the TRS leader.
