Alongside Rana Daggubati, Srujan Yarabolu, and Siddharth Rallapalli produced the hard-hitting film 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu. Directed by Nanda Kishore Emani, the movie arrives in cinemas on the 6th of this month.
Srujan Yarabolu says he was literally waiting for a good script for his 10th movie as a producer. “There is no commercial element beyond the mother sentiment. Mother's emotion is very crucial in 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu. Everyone will own the movie. It is made for theaters. The story is set in the temple town Tirupati and it indeed acts like a character.”
The producer reveals that Vishwadev was selected through an audition, and appreciated Nivetha for putting in a lot of efforts.
“The story and screenplay should be the points of discussion when the audience comes to theatres. Hence, we decided to go with a new hero. Vishwadev will earn a good name with the movie. She learned the Tirupati dialect and performed excellently in sync sound.”
Srujan is hopeful that the movie will be remembered for ages. “Like Kantara in Kannada, Manjummel Boys in Malayalam, and Maharaja in Tamil, 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu will be remembered for a decade.”
The producer also asserts that it will remain to be a milestone film in his career.
