The recent blockbuster movie "Kalki 2898 AD," starring Prabhas, is now available on OTT platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
Netflix exclusively streams the Hindi version, while Amazon offers the South Indian language versions.
Viewers who watched the film both in theaters and on OTT platforms have noted that their experiences were slightly different. It seems that several sequences have been edited for the OTT release.
One of the most common criticisms when the film premiered in theaters was that several sequences dragged on, and the first half of the film felt too slow. This might be why the OTT version was trimmed.
More than six minutes have been cut from the film. Prabhas' lengthy entrance scene and Deepika Padukone's interval segment have been shortened. Some shorter scenes were completely removed.
