Jana Sena candidate for Kakinada, a fraudster?

When Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan announced the candidature of Tangela Uday Srinivas for Kakinada Lok Sabha seat, everybody thought it was a right choice, as the latter was popular as a successful entrepreneur owning Tea Time chain of tea outlets across the Telugu states.

Not many people were aware of the credentials of Uday Srinivas – perhaps not even Pawan Kalyan – and everybody thought he has a clean record, as there are no criminal records on him in Andhra Pradesh.

Now, as his political rivals have started digging into his background, more and more startling information has started coming out in the open.

Before he entered politics, Uday Srinivas was projected to be an engineer in electronics and communications engineering. Readmore!

He claimed that he had studied engineering from TRR College of Engineering in Hyderabad and later become a software engineer. Later, he resigned from the job and entered into business in Dubai.

But in his affidavit submitted to the Election Commission of India while filing his nominations, the Jana Sena candidate from Kakinada declared that he had completed only Intermediate.

This led to the talk how he had done the software engineer job in Dubai, where the laws are tough and stringent.

His political rivals, particularly YSR Congress party leaders are questioning how Uday Srinivas had done software job in Dubai with just Intermediate qualification, as he is not eligible not even to work as a boy in petrol pumps.

Inquiries by his political rivals revealed that Uday Srinivas had actually not done any software job in Dubai, but made big money as a bookie doing cricket betting.

He had allegedly taken huge loans from various banks in Dubai and the local government booked a case against him and issued a lookout notice for him in March 2015.

As per the case details that have come out now, Uday Srinivas managed to escape from Dubai and landed in India, where he changed his credentials and posed as a budding entrepreneur.

Even in India, this Jana Sena candidate is allegedly facing allegations of corruption. He has been working as director for various companies by taking multiple PAN cards. He is also allegedly facing land grabbing cases.

Now, the YSRCP leaders, who have brought out all these documents against Uday Srinivas, are launching a big campaign against him and appealing to the people not to vote for him.

If they succeed in convincing the voters, the chances of Uday Srinivas winning Kakinada seat will become bleak, say analysts.
