Ravi Teja’s Krack film is the first notable film to hit the theaters in the New Year. The film’s release got delayed due to financial troubles, but there was no stopping once the first show was screened. Tamil dubbed film Master made the most of a solo release on the festive day and made profits despite mixed reports.

Ram’s Red also opened to mixed response, but his iSmart craze ensured respectable returns.

Bellamkonda Srinivas’s Alludu Adhurs was the only failure among Sankranthi films.

Allari Naresh’s Bangaru Bullodu failed to click. The outdated comedy couldn’t even get decent collections in its first weekend.

Pradeep Machiraju’s debut film 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela opened on a strong note in spite of scathing reviews and weak reports. All thanks to its viral song Neeli Neeli Aakasam, 30RPE is going to be a commercial success, say trade reports.
