Jai HanuMan: Prasanth, Keep the Budget in Control!

"Jai HanuMan" has officially begun, with Rishab Shetty attending the launch ceremony.

Naturally, the theatrical and OTT business of "Jai HanuMan" is expected to be driven largely by his name.

Trade circles believe the overall business, including digital rights, could comfortably cross Rs 500 crore.

Reports suggest that Rishab Shetty is drawing a hefty remuneration of around Rs 80 crore for the film. While pre-release business may not be a hurdle, the real challenge lies elsewhere — controlling production costs.

Director Prasanth Varma must ensure that the budget remains within reasonable limits. If spending spirals in proportion to the projected business, profit margins for the producers could shrink significantly.

Prasanth Varma has already lost valuable time over the past two years with projects that didn’t materialize, including attempts to collaborate with high-profile stars across industries.

Now, with "Jai HanuMan" finally rolling, the priority should be clear — deliver a visually strong film within a practical budget and secure solid returns for the production house.
