'Jagan will rule state for next few decades'

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will continue to rule the state for the next few decades, as he is the only chief minister who fulfilled all his election promises.

This was the confidence expressed by senior YSRC leader and advisor to the state government on public affairs Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Saturday.

He along with his wife, performed special pujas at Lord Venkateshwara Swamy temple at Vadapalli in East Godavari district, on the occasion of the completion of four years of the commencement of Jagan’s padayatra.

He said Jagan would continue to be the chief minister of the state not just for the next term, but for many decades to come. Readmore!

“He is capable of making the state No. 1 in the country in the implementation of welfare and developmental schemes,” Sajjala said.

He said he had prayed the god to see that the state would get out of the financial crisis so that the Jagan government continue to implement the welfare schemes for the poor.

The YSRC cadres across the state celebrated the four years’ of Jagan’s padayatra. Speaking at the celebrations in Vijayawada, state endowments minister Vellampalli Srinivas said Jagan was striving every day to fulfil the promises he had made during the padayatra.

“On the contrary, previous chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu never bothered about the poor. His only focus was to please the capitalists and his own community people by giving them benefits in the name of capital development,” Vellampalli criticised.

He said it was because of Jagan’s orientation towards the welfare of the poor, the YSRC has been winning all the elections – right from the state assembly elections to the gram panchayat elections.

“In all the coming elections, too, the YSRC will emerge victorious. There is no need for any opposition parties in the state. People are with us and we care a damn for the opposition’s criticism,” Vellampalli added.
