Jagan, however, hinted that some of the existing ministers would be retained in the cabinet.

He did not say how many of them would continue in the cabinet and who they are. But his comments are learnt to have caused some kind of anxiety among the ministers.

The party sources, however, are predicting that Jagan might retain only four or five including finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, K Kanna Babu, Balineni Srinivas Reddy and Perni Nani.

“But nobody knows what is there in the mind of Jagan. Till the reshuffle is done, one has to keep one’s fingers crossed,” a YSRC leader said.
