Jagan, Sai Reddy on foreign tours soon!

YSR Congress party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is going on a foreign tour in September. So is his party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy.

Both Jagan and Sai Reddy submitted petitions in the Special Court for CBI cases at Nampalli Criminal Court complex in Hyderabad, seeking permission to travel abroad.

Both of them are facing the trial in connection with the quid pro quo case being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The arguments between Sai Reddy’s counsel and the CBI counsel on his petition concluded on Tuesday and the judgement is reserved for August 30. Readmore!

On the other hand, with regard to Jagan’s plea, the arguments will continue on Wednesday, too, as the CBI has not put forth its objections.

It is learnt Jagan wants to go to the United Kingdom along with his wife in September, apparently to spend time with his daughter.

Interestingly, it was only in May, after the completion of polling in the state assembly elections, that Jagan had gone on a vacation with family to Europe.

On the other hand, Sai Reddy wants to travel to the European countries in the months of September and October. The reason for his travel is not immediately known.
