Jagan in a fix over KCR's invite for Kaleshwaram!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is learnt to be in a state of confusion over whether to attend the inauguration of Kaleshwaram project in Telangana on June 21 or not.

Telangana CM KCR has invited Jagan as the chief guest for the inaugural ceremony.

KCR will soon visit Vijayawada to meet Jagan and invite him personally to the event. KCR's invitation is learnt to have put Jagan in a fix.

This is because Jagan as Leader of Opposition in AP has opposed Kaleshwaram project in 2016. Readmore!

While KCR laid foundation for Kaleshwaram in May 2016, Jagan has undertaken "Jala Deeksha" in Kurnool for three days immediately against Kaleshwaram project terming it as illegal.

He alleged that KCR started project without securing requisite approvals, which will cause loss to several districts in AP as Godavari water will not reach AP downstream due to Kaleshwaram,

Jagan lashed out at then AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu for not preventing or opposing Kaleshwaram due to fear of 'cash for vote' case against him in Telangana.

Jagan alleged that Naidu sat quite as he fears KCR may arrest him in cash for vote case if he obstructs Kaleshwaram and Naidu had compromised on AP's interests for his personal gains.

However, after three years, Jagan became CM and Naidu became Leader of Opposition in AP.

The same Jagan now got invite from KCR to attend for Kaleshwaram inaugural event, which Jagan has termed illegal.

Jagan is reportedly confused over what to do on this issue. If he attends, it will give scope for TDP to criticise him of colluding with KCR and compromising on AP's interests with an aim to finish off TDP in AP.

If not, it will create gap between KCR and Jagan, whose bonhomie has just begun.

Let's wait and see what Jagan will do and how he will come out of this issue.
