Jagan going slow in filling nominated posts!

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy appears to be taking his own time in appointing his party leader in various corporations and other nominated posts.

Though Jagan has been confirming the appointment of senior party leaders in various posts, he is going a bit slow in issuing orders.

The delay is causing anxious moments for them, though they are confident of getting the posts sooner or later.

On Saturday, the YSRC government issued orders appointing former MLA Dronamraju Srinivas as the first chairman of Visakhapatnam Metro Region Development Authority (VMRDA), after keeping him waiting for more than a month. Readmore!

Dronamraju who was a two-time MLA and also government whip in the assembly, lost the recent assembly elections from Visakhapatnam (South) constituency. For his loyalty, Jagan promised him to appoint him in the key post.

It is learnt Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, who could not make it to the cabinet, was promised with the post of Rayalaseema regional development board, but no orders have been issued to this date.

Firebrand MLA from Nagari constituency R K Roja, who also could not get cabinet berth, had to wait for more than a month to get the post of AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) chairperson. She is yet to join the office.

Similarly, Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy was confirmed as the chairman of AP Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA), but so far there are no official order. He is keeping his fingers crossed.

May be, Jagan wants to observe the attitude of the party leaders before finalising their appointments. If they continue to be low-profile without facing any controversies, Jagan is finalising their appointments, sources said.
