Is Thaman Losing His Cool Under Pressure?

It appears that music director Thaman is going through a turbulent phase in his career.

There was a time when he enjoyed immense popularity, especially when Trivikram repeatedly collaborated with him, and when he held a special position as the go-to composer for Nandamuri Balakrishna. However, 2025 seems to have altered the course of his journey.

While Thaman received widespread appreciation for his work in “OG,” which went on to become a major box-office success, his other high-profile projects such as “Game Changer” and “Akhanda 2” failed to meet expectations.

Adding to this, Trivikram has now moved on and is collaborating with other composers, including Harshavardhan Rameswar. Readmore!

These developments appear to have left Thaman frustrated.

Recently, he remarked that Tamil music composers frequently receive opportunities in Telugu cinema, while he does not get similar recognition or chances.

Now, all eyes are on his upcoming big-ticket project “The Raja Saab.” However, the songs from the film are yet to make a strong impact or go viral.

While Prabhas fans praised director Maruthi for the recently released trailer, many expressed disappointment with the music.

The situation escalated when a fan tagged Maruthi with a comment praising the trailer but harshly criticising the music.

In response, Thaman reacted aggressively on social media, replying with an abusive counter-comment.

The fan wrote: “Trailer kuthaaaaaa Rammmppppp ayya … Aa music entra Mental Na kodaka,” He replied to that user, “Thanks Ra pitchaa naaaa pakoda !!”
