The battle of words between fans of popular hero and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan and senior actor Posani Krishna Murali for the last few days took an ugly turn with some miscreants resorting to stone pelting at Posani’s residence at Yellareddyguda in Hyderabad in the early hours of Thursday.
As the Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police registered a case and are investigating into the attack, Posani reacted strongly, alleging that the stone pelting was done by Pawan Kalyan’s fans.
“But I am not afraid of such attacks. I am ready to die for my leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh,” he said.
Posani said he had faced many such incidents in the past.
“In Pawan Kalyan’s own language, I can say I have seen many such sannasis in my career. I will not get demoralised with such stone pelting and physical attacks. In fact, they only make me stronger,” he said.
Stating that he, too, can indulge in such attacks on the Jana Sena chief, Posani said he did not require any fans to do the job.
“I don’t need anybody support. I can straightaway go and beat Pawan Kalyan with chappals. What can he and his men do? At the most, they will kill me,” he said.
The senior actor said Pawan had always been a psycho right from the beginning.
“He thinks he can get away by abusing anybody. But nobody should touch him with a barge pole. Even during the film shootings, he can get angry and beat up anybody. But he doesn’t tolerate if anybody retaliates,” he said.
Posani said such a imbalanced person is unfit to be in politics.
“In politics, cadre follows the leader. If the fans are behaving in such psychic manner, it means Pawan is a big psycho,” he said.
He wondered why Pawan’s fans were targeting his wife.
“In what way she is concerned with politics? Pawan, too, has a wife and mother. How does he feel, if I use abusive words against them?” he asked.
