Singer Smita Vallurupalli who rose to fame as a leading Telugu pop singer in the early 2000s and sang in several films had done various charity works through Smita Care and other foundations.
Smita shared many unknown and interesting facts about her personal and professional life during exclusive interview with Greatandhra.com.
She informed how she became a singer, the kind of support she got from her parents and the influence of her grandma to take up philanthropy works.
Smita planned to begin Your Honour TV show for Ugadi, last year. But, due to lockdown, the show got postponed.
Smita then with the support of EO AP members and the Alai Foundation set up oxygen support systems in the shortest possible time across the Telugu states.
She had personally taken the initiative of creating helplines for patients who needed Covid care.
About success and failures in life, she says they are part in everyone’s journey, adding, I never felt that I had failures in my life.
Smita is also a successful entrepreneur. “I started my own businesses at the age of 21. I never wanted to take over business of my parents.”
She also cleared a doubt that neither Nani nor his wife Anjana is a relative, though she informed, Allari Naresh’s wife Virupa was her distant relative.
“I share good rapport with Nani’s and Naresh’s family. We are like a family,” clarifies she.
