Last week, "Yatra 2" was released, where Mammootty played the role of Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy. This year, he has already had his second release with the latest Malayalam film, "Bramayugam."
"Bramayugam" is a horror-thriller movie that had high expectations set by its trailer.
The trailer was released in several languages, including Telugu. Mammootty dubbed himself for his role in the Telugu version of the movie. The film is shot entirely in black and white and features only three main characters.
However, "Bramayugam" did not meet expectations. The movie felt a bit slow, with Mammootty being the standout factor. The set design was unique, but the experience lacked precision and engaging elements.
The movie's narration is unconvincing, inducing moments of boredom. The second half is predictably lackluster, with only Mammootty's portrayal of evil being the sole exciting point. Unfortunately, apart from that, the film lacks much excitement.
