For the film Agynaathavaasi, Trivikram Srinivas had shoot footage of a whopping 4 hours and the plan was to edit the best parts for premium output.
This would have been a good plan if the editor was given sufficient time to do his job for such an enormous quantity of footage. But with Agynaathavaasi, the plan went haywire.
The release date was announced well in advance but the footage was submitted at the last minute to the editor. This meant that he did not have time to do a good job as can be evidenced by the haphazard scenes and cuttings in the film.
Maybe, if Trivikram’s plan to choose the best output had worked, we might have seen a better output on screen.
