Has Naidu gone to US or not?

All the newspapers in the Telugu states have reported that Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had gone to the United States of America on in the early hours of Saturday for a medical check-up and that he would be back in another five or six days.

Nobody, including his close sources in the party, was aware where exactly Naidu had gone in the US. It was kept completely a closely-guarded secret.

In fact, there was a controversy over his visit to the US, stating that he had not obtained permission from the ACB court to go abroad, as he has been on bail in the state skill development corporation case.

Naidu’s arch rival and YSRCP president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy got the permission from the CBI court for his holiday trip to European countries. But Naidu did not move any such petition before the court to obtain permission. Readmore!

Some media houses reported that Naidu had indeed obtained permission from the court silently and managed the media to see that it is not reported. Another version is that as per the bail order, Naidu doesn’t need court permission to fly abroad.

Amidst all these reports, there was a statement from TDP’s NRI cell coordinator Komati Jayaram on Monday denying reports that Naidu had gone to the US. He said Naidu was not coming to the US at all.

“It has come my attention that there was a news going around in Media that our beloved leader CBN Garu coming to USA for health check-ups. This is false information and our leader CBN Garu not coming to USA,” he said.

But the party sources say Naidu has indeed gone to the US and he would be back by this week-end.

So, who is correct?
