YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has appointed Annapareddy Harsha Vardhan Reddy as the Chief Information Officer of E-Pragati
A government order to this effect was issued by the state government on Thursday.
Reddy, a young IT and Telecom professional who have been working in Industry from 17 years in India and abroad will be looking after the E-Pragathi, a digital platform of the government for various citizen services.
The terms and conditions of the appointment of Reddy would be finalised shortly.
Thanking the chief minister for the faith reposed in him by appointing him in this key post, Reddy said he would sincerely and efficiently discharge his duties entrusted to him by the chief minister.
In a separate order, the Jagan government also appointed Puttha Shiva Shankar as the general manager of Andhra Pradesh Technology Services (APTS).
An active worker of the YSR Congress party and a trusted lieutenant of Jagan, Shiva Shankar thanked the chief minister for appointing him in the key post.
He assured that he would fulfil the responsibilities entrusted to him by Jagan with utmost sincerity.
