GVL blames it on TDP for BJP-Jana Sena rift!

Despite continuous overtures, the Bhartiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh has not been getting any positive response from the Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan for continuing the alliance for the next assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.

This is obviously a matter of frustration for the BJP, as Pawan Kalyan is said to be firm on forging an alliance with the TDP, which the saffron party is not interested at all. So, the BJP leaders have started targeting the TDP now.

On Friday, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao blamed it on TDP leaders for creating a rift between the BJP and Jana Sena Party, in a bid to garner the support of Pawan Kalyan.

GVL found fault with TDP leader and former minister Pitani Satyanarayana for saying that the BJP was warning the Jana Sena Party against forging an alliance with the TDP. Readmore!

“It is the TDP which is craving for an alliance with the BJP. Yet, it is throwing the blame on us,” he said.

The BJP MP demanded that the TDP leadership should apologise to the BJP for spreading canards against the BJP-Jana Sena Party alliance.

“Obviously, the TDP leaders are afraid of losing the elections in 2024 and that is why they are trying to create a rift between Jana Sena and BJP,” he said.

He also expressed anger at the TDP leaders for luring the BJP leaders into their party, while lobbying for returning to the NDA fold.

GVL expressed confidence that the BJP-Jana Sena combine would defeat the YSRC in the next elections and come to power in Andhra Pradesh.

“The TDP absolutely has no chance of coming to power, as the people are aware that the BJP is the strong opposition in the state compared to the TDP,” he said.
