Guntur: Time seems to be not on the side of N Chandrababu Naidu in recent times.
It was not even a week ago that eight people died in a stampede at Kandukur during his rally, and today another three women died in a similar stampede in Guntur.
The reason for these stampede deaths is linked to Chandranna Kanukalu for Sankranthi.
The TDP NRI wing started to distribute sarees to women as a part of this rally. Chandrababu was the Chief Guest of the event and the women thronged in big numbers to the place.
Chandrababu spoke and left the premises and it was almost night by the time the distribution of sarees started.
But some women were given the sarees and the others were given tokens to come and collect the sarees tomorrow.
As the women felt that they would miss the sarees if they ended up with tokens, bersecked the barricades and gushed in mobs.
Due to this a stampede took place, taking the life of a woman on the spot and two others breathed their last in the hospital. Many women were severely injured.
Who should be guilty of these political deaths?
There has been huge criticism that there won't be rains under CBN's rule. Now another opinion has started that CBN's political rallies took away the lives of some people.
These incidents are resulting in the discussions whether CBN is a curse to AP and its people.
