Gopichand Biopic Is Very Much On: Sudheer Babu

Hero Sudheer Babu, who will next be seen in Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Cheppali, completes 10 years in the industry.

On the occasion, he spoke about his decade journey, initial struggles and ups and downs in his career.

The actor informs director Krishna Vamsi suggested him to take training in acting, when he went for an audition.

Sudheer Babu says Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali will be much bigger and entertaining than Sammohanam, although genre of both the movies are same.

The actor got good recognition in Bollywood, after Bhagie. “I rejected few offers, including Brahmastra, as I want to focus completely on Tollywood. Coming to Brahmastra, I had to choose between this movie and Sammohanam. I preferred Sammohanam over Brahmastra.”

It is known that, Sudheer Babu has been planning to do biopic of his good friend and veteran Badminton player Pullela Gopichand.

“The film is very much on. Other producers came on board to make the film on much bigger scale and director is yet to be finalized.”

Sudheer Babu says he is not interested in direction, though he is willing to produce films under his own banner.

“If I get a good story, I’m ready to produce a film with Mahesh Babu.”

Sudheer Babu’s two sons have played childhood roles in few movies. “While my elder son is playing my childhood role in my film with Harsha Vardhan, younger son is playing childhood role of Mahesh Babu in Sarkaru Vaari Paata.”

He informs he has signed a total of four projects, including Harsha Vardhan’s movie where he is playing a triple role.
