Vijay Deverakonda has taken the failure of NOTA in his stride and is striving hard to make his upcoming Taxiwaala click. Vijay says that he was aware of the problems with NOTA and it wouldn’t work.
“It had serious screenplay issues, which I’d realized just before the release. I didn’t have enough time to correct it. It was a mistake to release it after such a big hit like Geetha Govindam,” he said.
Vijay says he wants all of his films to click.
“If I do a film, it should either become a blockbuster or end up as a flop. I don’t like the words average and below average,” he told.
He is confident that Taxiwaala would click because it has lot of entertainment and caters to all sections of audience.
In Vijay’s words, Taxiwaala wouldn’t become a rage like Arjun Reddy or Geetha Govindam, but it has enough in it to get back its investment.
Taxiwaala faced a lot of hurdles while in the making. It’s rough cut has been leaked on the internet and watched by many. A few enthusiasts went on to write reviews for it too!
The film is releasing on this Saturday.
