Equating AP with Sri Lanka is Yellow Strategy Only!

The opposition TDP and its supporting media have been speaking about the debt burden on the State Exchequer in Andhra Pradesh.

The statistics that they bring out day in and day out cause jitters among the people who have started suspecting whether Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is taking the state to debt trap.

Though the finance department in Andhra Pradesh, particularly senior officer Duvvuri Krishna had explained in detail the state’s financial situation on several occasions, the yellow media and the yellow party keep on spreading false statements.

The statements on debt of various states released by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman in the Parliament on Monday, proved the yellow teams wrong.  Readmore!

According to Nirmala Sitaraman’s statement, Andhra Pradesh is in 8th position (3.98 lakh crore) in debts in the country.

Tamil Nadu stands on top of all states with a debt of Rs 6.59 lakh crore, followed by Uttar Pradesh with Rs 6.54 lakh crore, Maharastra with Rs 6.08 lakh crore, West Bengal with Rs 5.62 lakh crore, Rajasthan with Rs 4.77 lakh crore, Karnataka with Rs 4.62 lakh crore and Gujarat with Rs 4.02 lakh crore.

Even after Union Finance Minister’s clear statement, the yellow media reported it conveniently ignoring this information and comparing Andhra Pradesh with Telangana.

Telangana stands in 11th place with a debt of Rs 3.12 lakh crore and this was taken by the yellow media to conveniently and cunningly justify their yellow campaign.

Interestingly, last week, the yellow party and the media received a slap from the Union Finance Ministry on a question of spending money out of the annual budget.

TDP MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar asked a question with an intention to corner the AP government.

But the reply from the Union Finance Ministry was that the unauthorised spending in Andhra Pradesh was more during the 2014-19, when the TDP was in power.

In spite of these facts, the yellow team continue to spread false, fake and motivated information to mislead the people.

Well, the fact is that there is social media now to make a fact check before blindly believing the yellow team.
