Doors Shut On The Face Of Vasireddy Padma

TDP and Jana Sena leaders have pleaded their party Chiefs that Vasireddy Padma, the former Women’s Commission chairperson who recently resigned from the YSRCP, should not be joining their parties.

They dismiss her criticisms of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and her allegations against Ramoji Rao, whom they respect as a prominent community leader. Leaders question the timing and motives behind her decision to leave the YSRCP after its time in power.

Critics argue that Padma, previously in powerful positions, appears willing to switch parties, allegedly for personal gain. As a well-known Kamma community leader, Padma received recognition first in the PRP, then in the YSRCP, largely due to her community ties.

Initially respected for her left-wing activism, Padma now faces skepticism. Meanwhile, she is seeking entry into TDP through Vijayawada MP Kesineni Chinni, relying on caste connections. TDP leaders advised Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh not to accept Padma into the party.  Readmore!

If TDP denies her entry, Padma may consider Jana Sena with her PRP connections, hoping for a leadership role. Time will reveal her path. But as of now the doors are shut on her face from both the parties.
