Don't fall into BJP trap, KTR tells youth

Even as the Bharatiya Janata Party's Telangana unit staged a massive Maha Dharna at the Dharna Chowk near Indira Park on Saturday, demanding a judicial inquiry into the public service commission question paper leak scam, the state's Information Technology Minister, K T Rama Rao, asked the youth not to fall into the trap of opposition parties.

During a meeting held at Pedda Amberpet, KTR reassured the state's youth that the KCR government would conduct the TSPSC recruitment examinations that were cancelled without delay, and urged job aspirants not to get distracted by the conspiracies of opposition parties seeking to sabotage the mass recruitment drive.

He pointed out that the TSPSC had cancelled the examinations in the best interest of the candidates after the question papers were leaked. A comprehensive investigation was ongoing into the issue, and none of the culprits would be spared, he said.

"However, opposition parties are hatching conspiracies to sabotage the entire recruitment exercise by trying hard to derive political mileage from the issue," he said, pointing out that the BJP state unit had earlier claimed that recruitment notifications were a ploy by the TRS government to distance the youth from the saffron party. "Be wary of these conspiracies. The TRS government has set up reading rooms, coaching centers, and libraries. You should focus on exam preparations, and we will take care of these plots," KTR said.
