The makers of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge have finally released the much-awaited teaser, following the massive box office success of the first part, Dhurandhar.
The teaser offers a dark and intense glimpse into the sequel, with Ranveer Singh returning in a ruthless and commanding avatar.
Set in the violent lanes of Lyari, the visuals show Ranveer unleashing chaos, with his screen presence dominating every frame.
With minimal dialogue and powerful imagery, the teaser establishes a darker, more dangerous tone for the sequel.
Unlike the first part, which released only in Hindi, Dhurandhar 2 is set for a pan-India release. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film will hit theatres on March 19 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The original Dhurandhar featured a strong ensemble cast including R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal.
The film revolved around a high-risk covert counter-terrorism mission, following an Indian intelligence officer infiltrating Karachi’s criminal and political networks to dismantle a terror organisation.
Dhurandhar 2 takes the story forward with Hamza Ali Mazhari, an Indian undercover agent who has firmly established himself within Pakistan’s underworld.
The first film delivered a historic theatrical run, crossing â¹1,000 crore in India alone, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.
With this, Dhurandhar joined an elite club of Indian films that achieved the milestone, alongside Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, KGF: Chapter 2, and Pushpa 2: The Rule.
What made Dhurandhar stand out was that it became the first Indian film to cross â¹1,000 crore with a single-language release, unlike other blockbusters that benefited from multiple dubbed versions.
With its explosive teaser and expanded scale, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge promises a bigger, darker, and more intense cinematic experience.
