Shah Rukh Khan's film "Pathaan" has broken box office records by becoming the highest-grossing Hindi opener of all time.
According to early estimates, the film has surpassed the weekend records previously held by "Baahubali 2" and "KGF 2" in just three days of its release.
The film, also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, earned more than Rs 35 crores nett on its first Friday and had a total three-day total of around Rs 160 cr nett.
It is part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious spy universe and features appearances by other big stars such as Salman Khan.
