Puri Jagannadh had signed an Asian boxing champion for a key role in his current sports drama. He already wrapped up a lengthy schedule in Mumbai in March but has now canceled foreign and Mumbai shoot.
Bringing foreign fighters and crew to India will not be easy in the current situation and the coronavirus is not going to die anytime soon. So, he cannot shoot the key scenes with the famous Asian boxing champion. He will now look for an Indian champion.
As per the story, the film’s hero fights with an international boxer. Since the film has been planned as a Pan-Indian project, Karan Johar suggested roping a real boxing champion. Thus they had signed a Hong Kong-based boxer.
Puri Jagannadh has to rethink about the casting and also need to alter script if necessary in the changed scenario.
