Cops Warn Of Legal Action Against Lokesh!

Telugu Desam Party general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh, known for posting explosive messages on Twitter criticising the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government on every issue day in and day out, has incurred the wrath of the Guntur district police on Thursday.

Guntur (Urban) SP R N Ammi Reddy gave a strong warning to Lokesh for posting objectionable comments on the police and warned of taking legal action against him for spreading false news.

“We appeal to @naralokesh not to spread false news. Spreading false news is liable for legal action. Further, @naralokesh is not only stopping at false news but is seen trying to instigate the Caste groups while portraying that police action is against SC community,” he said.

The SP was referring to Lokesh’s comments condemning the arrest of a Dalit TDP activist Maniratnam from Ponnuru for posting a comment ridiculing local MLA Kilaru Rosaiah for inaugurating a compound wall on Wednesday. Readmore!

However, Lokesh did not budge with the SP’s warning. He said the TDP activist was indeed arrested and later released on bail.

Attaching the picture of the activist’s release, the TDP general secretary tweeted: “Dear @spguntururban Sir, if you really have guts, release the CC footage at the Peddakakani PS. Attaching a photo of Mani who was released from the PS. You must stop stooping down for your political bosses!”
