As the elections to the Telangana assembly are fast approaching, the political parties are indulging in a war of words on social media, apart from open attacks in public rallies and other political platforms.
The innovative attacks on the rival parties on social media have been attracting the attention of the people these days – whether they are in the form of memes, posters and messages.
In a latest development, the Congress has posted several creative posters to drive home the message among the voters that there is a kind of nexus between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi.
As part of the strategy, the Congress on Wednesday posted a wedding invitation card on social media in the name of BRS-BJP laggam (marriage), stating that it indicated the agony of Telangana martyrs.
The invitation says the event will take place at KCR's farmhouse on November 30 when elections are held. Those who will take care of the guests are KTR, Harish Rao, Kavitha, Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, D K Aruna, Eatala Rajender and Arvind.
It also states that the dowry that BJP is paying BRS is to ensure that Kavitha will not be jailed in the liquor scam and the muhurtam will be “Karuna Star on Kavitha.”
The invitation says the BRS and the BJP have already taken seven steps as part of the wedding: first step in extending support to the denomination of currency, second step with Modi’s support to Kaleshwaram scam; third step with cooperating with each other in petrol, diesel and gas tax scam; fourth step with Dharani portal scam; fifth step on promising one lakh jobs by BRS and two crore jobs per year by Modi government; sixth step in the form of not filing CBI cases in TSPSC question paper leak scam and seventh step is removal of Bandi Sanjay as BJP state chief and replacing him with Kishan Reddy.
