Chilakaluripeta Survey Report: Who Has An Edge?

A survey was conducted by Greatandhra in the Chilakaluripeta constituency, encompassing a sample size of over 2461 individuals, to determine their voting preferences for the upcoming 2024 general election.

The sample was representative of various segments of society, including businessmen, daily wage earners, minorities, BCs, SCs, STs, OCs, and women.

Among the 2461 respondents, 991 (40.27%) expressed a positive inclination towards the YCP, while 1050 (42.67%) showed their interest in the TDP. Janasena garnered a favorable response from 360 members, which accounted for 14.62% of the sample size.

A total of 22 people indicated their intention to vote for the BJP, while the Congress party had only 3 supporters. The CPM received support from 25 individuals, and 10 respondents expressed discontent with all parties and opted for the NOTA (None of the above) option. Readmore!

Although the margin is narrow, it appears that the incumbent MLA and Minister Vidadala Rajani may need to exert additional effort to enhance the image of the YCP within her constituency. This situation presents an advantage for the TDP, as a strong candidate from their party could pose a formidable challenge to the ruling party.

If TDP joins with Jana Sena it will be cakewalk for opposition parties to win the Chilakaluripet Assembly seat, as per the locals. The main cause for Rajini's declining vote percentage is attributed to allegations of group politics and corruption.
