Ram Charan and Uppena Buchi Babu's film, tentatively titled "Peddi," has been ready to go on set for some time now.
However, delays due to "Game Changer" have pushed back its schedule. Although "Game Changer" is not yet complete, Ram Charan's work on it is finished, allowing him to focus on "Pedhdi."
The film won't start shooting immediately as Charan needs to grow a beard, mustache, and hair for his role, which is expected to take at least two months. Therefore, the movie is likely to go on set starting in September.
So far, composer A.R. Rahman and director Buchi Babu have completed three songs for the film, with the remaining tracks expected to be ready before the shoot begins.
Director Buchi Babu has been refining the script for over two years, continuously fine-tuning it.
Janhvi Kapoor has been cast as the heroine for the movie. Additionally, the film will feature a pan-India star cast.
Mythri Movie Makers and Vriddhi Cinemas, along with producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, are backing the project.
