Chandrababu's Letter From Jail: A Big Flop

Chandrababu wrote an open letter to the people of the state from Sneha Block, Rajahmundry Jail. The party released it. However, there's nothing fresh in this letter.

He repeated the same habitual lines like.."I am the one for development. Welfare means me. My focus is on development. I stand for welfare. The asserted charges against me were false, justice will prevail, and my arrest is unlawful".

Ideally, a letter written by someone in prison for over forty days should carry significant weight. Emotions should be intense. It should resonate with people. However, this letter lacks that impact.

Here's another highlight. It is also mentioned that the party manifesto was meant to be released for Dussehra, but it's being withheld due to the imprisonment.  Readmore!

It suggests that the TDP would be paralysed without Chandrababu.

Despite spending forty days in solitary confinement, Chandrababu hasn't taken the opportunity to craft a powerful manifesto and release it from jail.

Had he done that the impact would have been different. Don't know why Naidu wasted his time in prison!!

We are aware of national leaders from the Indian National Movement who penned autobiographies and historical books while being imprisoned. It's regrettable that Chandrababu, despite spending more than 40 days in prison, couldn't manage to write at least a party manifesto.
