Pawan Kalyan’s “Agnyaathavaasi” is the first big movie this year. This Trivikram directed romantic entertainer has generated huge hype, it has also got highest number of screens in many areas.
In particularly, the movie is releasing in 576 locations in USA, which is said to be record for any Indian movie.
Considering this mammoth release, it should get in the range of $1.5 million dollar from premiere shows. If it manages to do this feat, it will become second highest ever premiere for a Telugu movie after “Baahubali 2”.
The only problem this movie facing is the snowstorm in many locations in USA.
Currently, “Baahubali 2” ($2million above inclusive of all languages), “Kabali” ($1.92 million), “Baahubali” ($1.34 m), “Khaidi No 150” ($1.29 million) are holding the top positions in premiere shows records for South Indian movies.
Trade pundits are betting that it might emerge as second biggest grosser in Premiere shows among Telugu movies.
Pawan Kalyan’s previous biggest hit was “Attharintiki Daaredhi” which was grossed 1.89 million dollars in its lifetime.
Director Trivikram’s big hit in USA was Nithin starrer “A Aa”, which grossed $2.49 million in its lifetime.
