The much hyped biopic of NTR turned out to be a box office turkey with the first part that released on Jan 9 ending up a disaster.
The film's rights were sold for more than Rs. 70 crore, but it managed to collect only Rs. 20 crore as distributors share.
With a loss of over Rs. 50 crore, NTR - Kathanayakudu has gone down as one of the biggest flops in Telugu cinema history.
Balakrishna, who is also the producer of NTR biopic, is aware of the losses incurred and decided to compensate the buyers by giving the rights of NTR - Mahanayakudu for free.
According to the buzz, NTR part 2 distribution rights will be given to the same distributors who marketed NTR 1 and they won't be charged a single NP for it.
Balakrishna will not take any money from the said buyers until they make profits on Part 2.
The film's patchwork is currently going on in Hyderabad. It will be released on February 14 in a grand way across all Telugu film markets.
Can the part 2 that showcases the political rise of NTR click at the ticket windows to bail out the buyers?
