Buddha Venkanna said that he would kill Minister Kodali Nani or get killed, if the Minister touched the gate of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s house at Undavalli.

He was shifted to the One Town police station in Vijayawada from his house in the old city.

Venkanna had been one of the loud mouths of the TDP, who is close to Chandrababu Naidu since 2014. In fact, Venkanna is part of Chandrababu Naidu’s coterie and an ardent follower of the father and son from the Nara family.

Venkanna did a Sashtanga Pranamam to Chandrababu Naidu, in 2016 following which he was made an MLC.

Venkanna also made derogatory remarks earlier against TDP MP Kesineni Srinivas, only at the behest of Chandrababu Naidu.

However, with Kesineni threatening to quit the party, the TDP chief had realised the flaw and silenced Venkanna.

After a long silence, Venkanna came before the media today for the first time hurling abuses at the Minister and the DGP, and threatening to kill the minister or get killed, which led to his arrest.
