BJP Plans Kapila Teertham To Ramatirtham Rally!

The attacks on various temples and desecration of idols by miscreants in the recent past have given an excellent weapon to the Bharatiya Janata Party to establish itself as a strong political force in Andhra Pradesh.

Known for exploiting religious issues to consolidate its vote bank among the Hindus, the BJP is going all out to capitalise on the last month’s attack on Ramartirtham temple in Vizianagaram district, since Lord Rama has always fetched tremendous political mileage to the party.

At the core committee meeting held at the residence of its national general secretary Daggubati Purandeshwari in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, the party leaders decided to take out a massive “Rath Yatra” from Kapila Teertham in Tirupati Ramatirtham in Vizianagaram district, galvanising the Hindus all over the state.

“We have to highlight the anti-people policies of the Jagan government and taken strongly into the people the message that not a single scheme is being implemented properly. The Jagan government is only hoodwinking the people with publicity blitzkrieg,” the party leaders felt.

The BJP has decided to put in all out efforts to win the Tirupati parliamentary seat in the ensuing by-elections at any cost.

The entire party machinery should be mobilised in Tirupati and strive for the victory of the party candidate, the meeting decided.

The party decided to constitute special teams each for every mandal and responsibility to campaign for the party be entrusted to senior leaders.

“We have to counter the negative propaganda by the ruling party against the opposition, without correcting its mistakes,” it felt.
