BJP got just one seat, how many can TDP get?

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s comment that the Bharatiya Janata Party which had won just one seat in the recent Telangana assembly elections, would not get even one in the ensuing AP elections, has evoked strong reaction from the BJP.

As usual, it was BJP national spokesman and Rajya Sabha MP G V L Narasimha Rao, who took pot shots at the TDP.

“Naidu seems to be very happy with the BJP getting only one seat. But how many seats did the TDP get? Just two. And that is going to be repeated in Andhra Pradesh elections, too. The TDP will not get more than two seats in AP as well,” he said.

He said Naidu was getting impatient because he had realized that his days were numbered. Readmore!

“His confidence levels are going down and that is reflected in his frustration. The countdown for his downfall has begun. He is going to bite the dust in the elections,” he said.

GVL wondered why Naidu was opposing the NIA taking over the investigation into the knife attack on YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

“May be he is afraid that his game plan would get exposed in the NIA investigation,” he said.
