BJP Begins Attack On Jagan Government!

Bharatiya Janata Party, which has achieved stupendous success in the recent Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections, is now hoping to repeat its show in Andhra Pradesh as well.

The state executive of the BJP which met at Tirupati on Saturday began a scathing attack on the YSR Congress party government headed by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy stating that it had ruined the administration in the state.

Senior BJP leader and former Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh alleged that the Jagan government had been hijacking the central schemes and claiming them as its own.

“The state government is just renaming the central schemes and announcing the same as if they are its own,” he said. Readmore!

He alleged that the Jagan government had completely bungled the economy of the state. On the other hand, the YSRC was making a negative campaign against the Centre on Polavaram, special category status and Visakhapatnam railway zone.

Union minister and BJP in-charge of Andhra affairs V Muralidharan and several senior party leaders are addressing the state executive committee meeting of the party at Tirupati.

The party chose the temple town for obvious reasons. It wants to make its -mark in the state by winning the by-elections to Tirupati parliamentary seat, vacated by the death of sitting MP Balli Durgaprasad.

The executive committee would thoroughly discuss the party preparations for the Tirupati by-elections. The party is also organising a massive show – Shobha Yatra in Tirupati town to make its presence felt in the temple town.
