Bhimaa Is Different From Akhanda: Gopichand

Hero Gopichand is hoping for a strong comeback with Bhimaa which is coming as Maha Shivaratri special on March 8th. The actor informs that director A Harsha initially narrated to him a different story during COVID-19.

“Although I liked the story, but I felt it was not an appropriate time to do such a movie. I asked him to come up with a unique cop story. After taking 8 months of gap, he approached me with the script of Bhimaa. I liked my characterization in the movie and also the semi-fantasy elements in it.”

Gopichand says Bhimaa is a commercially-packed movie with love, emotions, romance, action, and other elements. “There is a great emotion in every action sequence. I believe that emotion will connect well with the audiences.”

People are comparing Bhimaa with Balakrishna’s Akhanda. “Aghoras, color palette, and music might have given that impression. But, Bhimaa is a completely different film from Akhanda. It’s good if Bhimaa is compared with Akhanda. The story takes place in Parasurama Kshetram. So, we have taken such a background.” Readmore!

Gopichand clarified that he is not going to wield a megaphone like his father T Krishna. “Direction is not my cup of tea,” says he.
