Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa, Prabhas' Saaho and Mahesh Babu's Spyder were among the big films to face poor response when they were telecasted on TV channels. Now Bheemla Nayak also joins the list.
The film Bheemla Nayak was telecasted on the Star MAA Channel and many assumed that it would beat the TRP records of Vakeel Saab owing to its super hit songs and the positive response it garnered during the release. But much to the shock of TV channel and Pawan fans, it could pull only a TRP rating of 9.
Vakeel Saab could make a TRP of 19 when the fans thought of seeing the number 20 and above.
So far the highest TRPs were recorded by Ala Vaikuntha Puramulo with 29.4 and Sarileru Neekevvaru with 23.4.
But now Bheemla Nayak couldnt even touch the two digit mark. This is really shocking to observe the changing trends post pandemic. This may act as a reference for TV channels while buying the satellite rights of big films.
