Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has shed 4.5 kg since his arrest on March 21, according to Atishi, a leader and minister from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Kejriwal was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case related to the now-revoked liquor policy and was subsequently transferred to Tihar jail, where he will remain until April 15 under judicial custody.

Despite concerns raised about his health, officials at Tihar jail have reported that Kejriwal's weight has remained constant at 55 kg, and his blood sugar levels are normal.

He has been engaging in yoga, meditation, and walking within his cell as part of his daily routine.

Special measures have been taken to monitor his blood sugar levels closely, including the provision of a sugar sensor and toffees to counter sudden drops.

Kejriwal is being provided with home-cooked meals for lunch and dinner, and his condition is under constant surveillance. Additionally, a quick response team is stationed near his cell for any emergency situations.

While in custody, Kejriwal has communicated with his wife via video conference and met with his lawyer in person.

A Delhi court decided to remand him in judicial custody following concerns raised by the Enforcement Directorate regarding potential interference with their investigation if he were to be released.

The agency has accused Kejriwal of non-cooperation in the probe. Kejriwal's petition for interim relief will be heard today.
