Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has been subjected to significant hate and trolling on social media following his criticism of Prabhas' performance in Kalki 2898 AD.
Although Arshad has not responded to the backlash, he disabled comments on his latest Instagram post on Friday.
The controversy began when Arshad criticized Kalki 2898 AD in an interview, describing Prabhas' character as a "joker." This sparked a wave of negative reactions from the South Indian star's fans, who expressed their anger on social media.
In his latest post, Arshad is seen with his wife Maria Goretti and their daughter. However, fans of Prabhas flooded the comments section with abuses and expletives.
The backlash has intensified, with Arshad facing criticism not only from fans but also from South Indian celebrities such as Nani, Sudheer Babu, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and Ajay Bhupathi.
Nani remarked that this was the most attention Arshad had ever received, while Bhupathi accused him of being jealous of Prabhas' success. Nani later retracted his statement, expressing regret for his comments.
